Clay Reichenbach

Hi, I’m Clay.  Thank you so much for joining us on this journey. 

I am, first and foremost, a devoted daddy to two remarkable girls and husband to a caring wife. I am also an accomplished executive, successful investor, and seeker of beautiful conversations. I grew up outside Austin, Texas and attended Rice University where I played baseball for the nationally-ranked Rice Owls. After graduation and the end of my baseball journey, I pursued a successful career in commercial real estate, logistics, and investments.

My innate curiosity and passion for human improvement led me to create The Examined Athlete. I believe strongly that examination of our thoughts and behaviors is imperative for growth and enjoy challenging consequential ideas with engaged individuals.

Though I have spent years away from athletic competition, I am forever shaped by the lessons learned along my journey. I am certain our guests will find ways to inspire us well beyond what is possible on the athletic field.
